I recently had the pleasure of staying at Katerina, and at first glance, it offers a blend of comfort and value that's hard to overlook, especially in the heart of Pothia. Upon arrival, the hosts, Yiannis and Ramona, were incredibly accommodating, even welcoming us after midnight. The rooms were basic but spotless, equipped with essential amenities like flat-screen TVs and a small sitting area, ensuring a comfy stay. One notable aspect is the lovely pool and poolside snack bar, perfect for a refreshing break or a casual bite. I must mention that the air conditioning is an additional cost-something to consider for your budget. While the hotel is centrally located, providing easy access to shops and the port, it remains surprisingly tranquil, thanks to the well-kept garden. Katerina strikes a good balance for travelers seeking value without sacrificing comfort. I would definitely recommend it for those looking for an affordable escape.
